This playfull study with 10 hinges shows the never ending couriosity of Konrad Wachsmann concerning the question of the node. Its components are angled to generate a ring-like form. 6 of these hinges would create a flat, two-dimensional ring, but by increasing the number to 10, the hinges buckle outwards, striving to find space and conquering the third dimension. The study is part of the Konrad Wachsmann archive in Berlin, who made is not known.
